Do you sometimes have troubles to speak for yourself ?Do you struggle to express how you feel with clarity and confidence ? Well, I have been there too and that is why I started working with my throat chakra on a deeper level !!

An effective way to balance the throat chakra : Sacred sounds and chanting !

“Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways.” Sigmund Freud

Location : throat area.

Association : Relationship, Expression, Voice.

Colour : Usually blue (do not forget we all perceive the world differently so yours can be a different colour).

Crystals associated : Blue angelite, lapis lazuli, aquamarine...

Essential oils : Eucalyptus for its cleansing, purifying, warming and stimulant effect.

This is a lovely oil to treat sore throats and infections.

Mantra : I am free, I can securely express myself.

Lesson : Allowing ourselves to express our true self safely and lovingly. This chakra talks about trust, relation with self and others, authorizations we give ourselves and how we verbalize them.

Physical/ Mental issues related : Mouth, jaws, neck problems. Thyroid imbalances. Flues …

The throat chakra is the centre of expression, so it is very important to take care of it and let the energy flows freely.

As a person who tends to have my throat chakra imbalance, I noticed that singing, setting some challenges and having deep and meaningful conversations with others is helping to balance it.

I have also learned through my different courses that sound healing and mantras could be particularly adapted for this chakra, for example sacred sound chanting.

The next chakra we will be dealing with is the third eye one, to see beyond the limitations of our mental and physical realm.
